Anupam Gupta is a seasoned corporate leader with extensive experience across manufacturing, mobility, and engineering sectors. He has held senior leadership roles including Senior Vice President at JBM Group (where he led the JBM Bus Project), President of Hero Cycles, Executive Vice President of LML, Senior Vice President at Tecumseh Products Ltd., Vice President at Sanden Vikas Group, and Managing Director of Gallay India Ltd.
An alumnus of IIT Kharagpur (B.Tech), Anupam went on to complete a PGDIIT in Industrial Design from IIT Bombay. Following his retirement from executive roles, he serves as an Independent Director on the Board of Servotec Renewable Power System Ltd.
He has played a pivotal role in setting up multiple businesses across diverse sectors, including multi-layer PCBs, specialty paper, automobile air-conditioners and heat exchangers, motorcycles, and buses. His professional experience includes extensive international exposure, having worked across 20 countries negotiating joint ventures, technology transfers, collaborations, and global supply chains.
Beyond his corporate accomplishments, Anupam is deeply passionate about engaging with children and young people. His interests include photography, science and technology, and travel. An avid birdwatcher and bird photographer, he travels to remote locations around the world in pursuit of elusive species and is an active member of the Delhi Bird Photographers group.
